Time Flies

Holy cow, I can not even believe it has been almost a year since my last post.  I know I am not very good at this blogging thing, but I am disappointed that I have missed a year of writing down memorable things about my girls.  They are just growing so fast, that it make me sad.  This past year has been a pretty crazy one to say the least.  I never thought I would be without my Dad.  EVER.  I guess eventually it would happen, but not while I am still in my 20's.  We are getting by, day by day, but it is still so hard.  Okay, back to the girls before I lose it.

Rylee is now 3 1/2 and she is amazing.  She is so smart, funny, beautiful, athletic, etc, etc, etc.  I could go on and on.  She loves to learn.  I signed up for a program called abc mouse and she loves it.  We try and sit down together and do a few lessons each day.  Some times it happens, other times she just gets on and plays some of the games, either way she loves it.  She loves quizzing us on shapes, colors, numbers and well just about everything.  Her favorite number is 3.   That is HER number.  She has gotten into arguments with cousins over this number.  lol.    Apparently she is the only 3 year old, who can like the number 3.  This is how she likes to introduce her self to new friends, too.  Instead of telling them her name, she starts out with Hi, I am 3.  We have decided that she has her daddy's sense of humor also.  Some of the things she does and finds funny are definitely coming from her dad's genes.  She is a goofball, always trying to make us laugh at her.  She also loves trying to make her sissy laugh as well.  She is so loving towards Payton, most of the time. haha.  I love watching Rylee try and teach Payton stuff.  Rylee is doing swimming lessons and kids boot camp.   She definitely loves to be active.  She loves Anna, who does the boot camp.  In fact, if Anna doesn't pay enough attention to her, she will go off and pout.  Anna really is quite amazing with her.  She is with all the kids, but I love seeing Rylee's face light up when Anna greets her with a big hug.  With swimming, she is quite the little fish.  She loves to be in the water and is pretty fearless.  I was never a swimmer, so I get a bit nervous sometimes, but also love the fact that she loves it so much.  She is totally into drawing lately.  She draws rabbits, whales, sharks, ducks, grandparents and a few other things.  She decided to decorate our bathroom the other night, with a dry erase black marker.  She drew all over the toilet, shower, a few walls and of course the dry erase board.  lol.  I had to have Danny come in and punish her on that one, I was laughing to hard.  I tend to have a hard time with punishing her, because she always has something cute or funny to say, to get out of getting into trouble.  She is completely potty trained now.  She has been potty trained for quite some time now, but at night she would wear a pull up.  She would still wake up and go potty on the toilet, but we still put pull ups on her just in case.  Well, about a month ago, we ran out of pull ups and just decided not to get anymore.  She has yet to have an accident.  So proud of her.  She still sleeps in our room, but in her toddler bed.  We are having a hard time getting her to sleep in her room.  Soon enough we will make that transition.  Hopefully before Payton realizes that Rylee gets to sleep in our room.  lol.  Well, I wish I would do this more often, cause then I could remember some of the cute things she does, but for now my mind is blank.  I am going to set a goal of trying to blog at least once a week, that way, I should be able to remember some of the awesome things she says and does.

On to Miss Payton.  She is 1 1/2 and boy is she a spitting image of Danny.  Well, at least that is what I think.  She has been a pretty amazing baby.  So laid back and sweet.  Thank goodness, because like I said it was a pretty rough year.  She has always been a great sleeper.  Here and there, she would have a few nights of not so good ones, but for the most part she has been amazing.  She is usually wanting to go to bed at like 8.  I will tell her to give Daddy and Sissy kisses and she runs and does it.  Then will wait for me to get her milk and we go to her room.  She has a bunny and her blanket that she is absolutely attached too.  I love it too.  Rylee never got attached to anything like that.  Payton has to have her bunny and blanket to nap or go to bed with.  She will let you know if they aren't there.  There have been a few times when her blanket was dirty, so we tried to sneak Rylee's blanket in there.  She knows it's an impostor.  lol.  She calls her bunny her ba.  She will usually let me sleep till about 8am, which is awesome.  She is down to one nap a day.  I try and get her and Rylee down at the same time, so I can get house work done(or nap).  She loves her older sister.  She will copy everything she does.  She always checks with her first.  If Rylee gives good bye kisses, then it must be okay, so then she will go give kisses.  I love the bond they have.  The have just recently started playing really well together.  In the mornings, Rylee likes to run into Payton's room and tell her good morning.  Payton just lights up.  She is talking up a storm.  Can't really understand a lot of it, but it sure is cute.  She loves when Daddy comes home for lunch or the end of the day.  She goes running to him, with a huge smile on her face.  She isn't a huge fan of kisses, so instead she likes to do noggin, like from finding nemo.  She will even say dude when doing it.  It is pretty cute.  A bit painful, when you aren't ready for it, but still cute.  lol.  She refuses to give knuckles.  She will just open your hand up and give you a high 5.  She was the first of my kiddos to stay the night in the hospital.  I had to take her to the ER, because she was having a hard time breathing.  Quite scary.  It was like 1 in the morning.  They ended up admitting her to monitor her and diagnosed her with Croup.  It was so sad, she was so miserable.  So glad I was able to hold her and sleep with her.  I was afraid they would make her sleep in the caged crib.  She then gave her Croup to her sister.  Such a sweetheart.  lol.  Rylee didn't have to go to the hospital, but it was definitely a rough 2 weeks in our house.  Payton also  loves to do silly things to try and get us to laugh.  She loves to put things on her head and walk around.  She will peek every few seconds so she can make sure she isn't going to run in to anything.  She also loves to fake sleep.  She will do that a lot in her car seat.  She also loves to sing and dance.  We have had a few dance parties in the living room and her and Rylee rock out.  Payton is more of jumper, but she gets down.  She is definitely bigger then Rylee was at this age.  She is almost in 24 month clothes already.  She does not like to be left with anyone other than Mommy or Daddy.  I have tried to take her to the child care at the gym and she freaks out.  It is so sad when she is clenching on to me.  She is fine after about 5 minutes of screaming, but it breaks my heart to listen to her from the outside.  I guess that is what happens when she is with you 24/7.  Rylee seems to do good now, so hopefully she will grow out of it.  Well, I guess that is it for now.  I will leave you with some updated pictures, since the last ones posted were when Payton was a newborn.  lol.

Rylee's funny talk

I know it has been awhile. Had a lot going on. I will save all that for another post. I just got a new computer, so I won't have any pictures for a bit, but I had to post about some of the crazy things Rylee has been saying. She loves when her daddy throws her high in the air, so the other day she was begging him to do it. He was working, so he wasn't doing what she wanted. She sat there begging and begging and then out of no where says, "but you promised". Me and Danny just looked at each other and started laughing. I have no idea where she heard that from. We also have been working on potty training, which she has been doing great at. Well, she now usually runs around the house in just her underwear. Whenever we go some where, she wants to strip down to her undies as soon as we get there. It is a fight to keep her clothes on. We went to my dads the other night and she tried to strip down. Danny told her no. He found her a bit later in the bathroom and as soon as he walked in, she looked at him very innocent and said sorry daddy my pants fell off. She is such a ham. She likes to hide her clothes too. She is just so funny and so smart. She really makes us laugh every day. Miss Payton is doing well. She is sitting up and is almost ready to crawl. She wants to be mobil so bad. No teeth yet, but they are trying to come through. We have had a few rough nights because of it. I can't believe she is going to be 7 months old on the 10th. Where does time go. Well, I guess that is it for now. I know it has been forever since I have written anything, but I wanted to remember some of the funny things Rylee has been saying, so thought I would do a quick post. Hope you all have a great night.

Happy Birthday Rylee Roo!

Two years ago today, my life changed. Obviously for the better. At 10:31 pm I gave birth to my sweet baby Rylee. I can not believe how fast these 2 years have gone. It is bitter sweet. I love her little personality she has and it is only getting better with each day, but the days are just going by way to fast. She is the sweetest little girl. She is definitely a Daddy's girl. She has brought so much joy and happiness to our lives. I can't imagine our lives without her. She now has a little sister, who she has a love/hate relationship with. She absolutely loves her, except when daddy is holding her, then she gets really jealous and needs daddy to hold her too.

Danny took a half day today so we could take miss Rylee to lunch and to just spend the afternoon with us. We decided to take her to Mr. D'z for lunch and then let her check out the train across the street. I'm retarded and didn't bring my camera or take any pictures of today. I did take pictures of her birthday party, but have yet to upload them to my computer, so for now I will leave you with some of my favorite pictures of her. We love you Rylee Roo, Happy 2nd birthday.

I love her look in this one.

Cool girl.

I thought I had baby pictures saved to this computer, but I guess not. I have them on the main computer.

Baby Payton!!!

We finally have our new baby girl here. She didn't want to come so we forced her out. lol. We arrived at the hospital at 6:00 am, on August 10th. I was so nervous driving there. I think because I knew what to expect this time around being induced. After the nurse finished poking me, Dr. Tedesco came in and checked me. I was still only dilated to a 3. Baby had no intentions of coming out. He broke my water and they started me on the pitocin. At around 11:00 an the contractions got pretty intense. That is when I asked for the epidural. I don't remember the epidural hurting as bad when I got it with Rylee. Once it started working though, I was in heaven. Okay, maybe not in heaven, but was feeling much better. When I got the epidural with Rylee, I couldn't move or feel my legs at all, this time I could still move and feel my legs. My legs were really tingly, but I was glad I was able to move them. I totally had plans to watch my soap opera, but due to the contractions and having to get the epidural at the same time my soap started, I had to miss it. Good thing I have them recording at home. lol. At about 1:45pm the nurse came in and said I could turn to my side if I wanted to. I really wanted to, because my upper back was starting to hurt. When I did that though, she couldn't find the baby on the monitor. She tried for a good 20 minutes and finally decided she was going to have to put the scalp monitor on the baby. When she went to check my, I was complete. I felt stupid, cause I didn't know what that meant, so I asked okay, but how far dilated am I? She said you are complete, meaning baby was ready to come. I felt retarded. About 20 minutes later Dr. Tedesco arrived and everything started to happen. He started breaking the bed down and getting everything ready. At about 2:15, I started pushing. At 2:24pm, and 3 contractions later, we found out we had another beautiful baby girl. The surprise was really a lot of fun. We decided to just have Danny in the room. After she was born, he got to cut the umbilical cord. He didn't get to with Rylee, so he was pretty stoked. He was so stoked, he asked me for a high five. When he saw my bloody hand he changed his mind. lol. I didn't even get a kiss, all I got was a air high five. He is such a goober. I did eventually get a kiss, I just thought it was funny that he wanted a high five. I was really surprised that everything went that fast. It was 8 hours faster this time around. Back to baby, she was 8 pounds 4.2 ounces and 20.3 inches long. She was absolutely perfect. Rylee wasn't to excited about her in the hospital. She came in and saw her, but there was a water tank outside that she really wanted to play with and it took priority over her new little sister. Once we got home and let her hold her new little sister though, it was a different story. Now all she wants to do is hold her sister and give her tons of kisses. She has her jealous moments, but all in all she is doing pretty good. Miss Payton is an awesome baby. She does a lot of sleeping. I can't believe she will be 1 week old tomorrow. Time is already flying by. Just like I can't believe Rylee is going to be 2 in just a few weeks. Well, I guess that is all for now. I will leave you with some of the photos the hospital took.

Rylee Roo & overdue

I am going to start off by saying I am the worst blogger ever. It's not that I don't have anything to blog about. I guess I'm just lazy. I decided I would try and get one last blog in before new baby arrives. Rylee is going to be 2 in less than a month. I can't even believe how fast she is growing up. She has such a little personality. She makes me and Danny laugh pretty much all day. She has become quite the dancer and singer. Not sure where she got her dance moves, but I must say they are pretty awesome. My birthday was this past Friday and since then she has been singing happy birthday non stop. I think she thinks she will get cake after every time she sings it. She also has quite the little attitude too. I'm afraid she probably got that from me. They say first borns are pretty stubborn and we both are. She is still our little parrot and repeats everything we say and I mean everything. Danny has an Ipad and he loaded a bunch of pictures on there. Most of them are from when she was a baby. She loves to go through the pictures and point everybody out. Well, anytime there was a picture of her, we would tell her that is you. Now when she sees a baby picture of herself and we ask her who it is, she replies, Baby You. Apparently she thinks that is the babies name. lol. We recently moved to a different house and ever since the move, her sleeping habits have not been so good. She used to sleep through the night in her bed no problem, now she wakes up at least once, if not twice during the night. We then have to lay in her room with her till she goes back to sleep. Being pregnant and laying on her floor is not very comfortable. I am hoping it is just a phase and she will start sleeping through the night again very soon. Especially since baby #2 will be here any day.

Since the last time I blogged, we took Rylee to Sea World. She had so much fun. She absolutely loves fish and was in heaven there. We had a great time. The weather was so nice too. Speaking of fish, one of her favorite movies right now is Finding Nemo, she also likes Monsters Inc., and Toy Story 3. She will sit and watch these movies all the way through. She still loves Yo Gabba Gabba, but will watch other cartoons too. She loves to play with her babies. She is always trying to change their diapers and put them to bed. She loves to push her baby in the stroller, down to the mailbox and back. She also loves when Daddy throws her high in the air. He makes her count to 5 first and then she gets to go high. She is also learning her colors. She loves to swing at the park. She could do that for hours if we let her. Sorry if this is all over the place, my fault for not blogging more often, now I am trying to remember everything at once. I guess for now that is enough about Miss Rylee Roo.

I am overdue by 2 days now. My due date was Friday the 5th, but no baby yet. I am not a very patient person either. The wait and anticipation is killing me. If baby does not make an appearance by Tuesday, then we go in to be induced on Wednesday. I didn't want to be induced again, but I don't think I can wait much longer. I am so ready to have this baby. I just hope Rylee is ready for a little sibling. Luckily, Danny will be taking 2 weeks off, so we can all adjust together as a family of 4. I will leave you with some random pictures from that last several months.

She is sitting in the baby swing seat that is in the closet. She never wanted to be in the swing when she actually fit in there. lol

She loves to swing in this swing.

She loves her swing so much, she fell asleep.

19 months and 22 weeks

I have a 19 month old. Where the heck did the time go. She just amazes me everyday. It has been quite awhile since my last post so not sure how long this will be. First off, at her 18 month check up she was 23 pounds and 31 inches long. She is quite the little copy cat. She loves to copy what we do, whether it be dancing, putting our contacts in or brushing teeth. My favorite though is when I shower, I put my leg up on the chair in the shower to wash my leg, next thing I know she has her little leg up there and is scrubbing away. She is just so interested in everything we do, that she has to try it. She is still sleeping very well in her toddler bed. This last week she was sick, so it was a little rough, but normally she will sleep all night in her bed. She still loves her Yo Gabba Gabba. She now sings along with them and says all their names. She loves loves loves to be outside. Any chance she gets, she is out there. The warmer weather will make that much easier for her. She is going to love going to the park pretty much every night, since Daddy is playing softball for mens and coed. She is currently working on popping through 4 of her molars. That has been a little rough for her. This will make 12 teeth for her now.

We also have another baby on the way. I'm sure everybody already knows this, but I haven't blogged since we found out, so I figured I would say something. I am almost 22 weeks with baby number 2. We are not finding out the sex, so it should make for an exciting delivery. I always ask Rylee where the baby is, and she goes right to my tummy. She gives the baby kisses, high fives and knuckles. The high fives and knuckles can be a bit painful. lol. She also thinks her and her daddy have babies in their bellies too. It is rather funny when she lifts Daddy's shirt up to talk to his baby. I really hope she doesn't get jealous of her new sibling. She really likes babies though, so hopefully she will just be in love with the new baby. Well, I know there is a lot more that I could post about, but then it will be a book, so I will really try my hardest to do more smaller posts. Here are some pictures from the last few months.

She was reading her book in her closet. Silly girl.

This was after playing at the park for a couple hours.

She got into my mascara, not sure how she didn't get it in her eye, but she didn't.

My cool chick, playing in her playhouse outside.

My little brothers turned 10 on march 23rd. Crazy how time flies.

Hanging out at the bowling alley. She got to bowl and did pretty good.

She loved our visit to the deer farm.

This is one of the nicer pictures of her messing with the kitty.

Our fishing trip, she enjoyed seeing the fish at the hatchery.
