Very Busy few weeks

We have had a very busy few weeks. We started with a trip to Tucson to visit Danny's family. We had a good time. We did some shopping and went to the zoo. Rylee wasn't real excited about the animals. In fact she could care less. But she was a good girl, so what more can I ask for.:). We Celebrated Danny's birthday on March 1st, by both taking the day off. We went to breakfast at Ihop. Then we dropped Rylee off at Brandi's and we went and watched copout. It was a pretty funny movie. Danny loves movies. I would rather wait for them to come out on video, but is was good alone time for us. We finished the day off, by going out to his sister's for a birthday dinner. We had a good day. It was back to work the next day. The next weekend though it was back to play. Well after our scare we had that is. Little miss Rylee decided to roll off our bed. We thought she was asleep, but apparently not so much. I was paying bills and Danny was straightening up, when we heard a loud thud, followed by her screaming. We sprinted in there. It was probably the worst feeling I have ever had. I was so afraid that she was gonna have blood all over her face. All she ended up having was a bump on the head. That is amazing considering that our bed is rather high and we have hard wood floors. She really didn't even cry that long. Just a few minutes was all. Back to the fun now. We went to Phoenix because my dad got us tickets to see the suns play the pacers. We invited Brandi and Jess. We had such a fun time with them. I would have thought having kids would have mellowed Brandi out a bit, but not so much. We had to hold her back a few times, so that she wouldn't run out on the court and beat up Danny Granger. She cracks me up.

We returned home to my family from Colorado being here. They were here for a week. The first few days were rather boring, because most of us had to work. On Thursday, however, we went out to the keepers of the wild. It was okay. Rather pricey if you ask me, but I guess they have to feed the animals somehow. I guess Abbie was scared the lions were going to eat her, so she keep asking the lady there if they were going to get her. The lady reassured her that they would not. Well, before we started on the trail, the lady came out and said, please keep the little ones close and don't let them run around, because it is feeding time and the lions will start tracking them like prey and running into the fence. (Made me feel real safe:). Well I decided to shorten it up a bit and tell Abbie that if she didn't stay close to Grandma and Papa, that the lions would eat her. Oops, I didn't realize she was already afraid of them. The look of terror that came over her face was priceless. That might sound kinda harsh, but if was funny, and it worked because she stayed very close to them.

We enjoyed a trip to laughlin on Saturday. We needed to get Rylee some new clothes. We always end up spending a ton of money on her. It is just so easy. The family left on Sunday. I wish I could find the motivation to clean my house now. Someday it will come:)

We had a few birthdays already. I already mentioned Dannys was March 1st. His step-mom Nancy's was on March 3rd. My brother Josh's on March 7th. We have my twin brothers on March 23rd and finally Danny's mom on March 30th. We have such a large family, it seems like there is a birthday every week.

I think we have a break from traveling for a little while, so maybe I can get some spring cleaning done. (Yeah don't hold your breath. Probably will never happen). I am going to hit the hay. The baby is sleeping and I should be too.

I guess I shouldn't wait so long to post, cause I can not for the life of me remember anything that has happened the last few weeks. So this post may be a bit boring and a bit scattered, but here it goes. We have had a few Birthdays. Danny's brother Bryan's birthday was on January 17th. He turned 21, but he is getting ready to serve a mission for his church, so we were not able to celebrate with him. Then our Niece Lexi turned 2 on Jan. 23. Danny's Dad had a birthday on Jan 31st, And finally our sister in law Latasha turned the big 30 on Feb 3rd. I think that covers all the birthdays.

Our little girl is just getting so big. She is 51/2 months already. She is developing such a personality. She already seems to have an attitude. We have tried her on a few different baby foods, but so far she has hated everyone. She is pretty much sitting up unassisted now. She doesn't seem like she is even close to crawling. We are kind of torn with this one. We want her to start crawling, but aren't quite sure if we are ready for her to be Mobile yet. She is a very happy baby. She got her second set of shots on Jan 21st. That is just the worst feeling for me. I hate when she is in pain. She has had her first fever and ear infection this past weekend. We went to Laughlin to celebrate Latasha's bday and my Dad watched Rylee. When we were pulling back into town, Anne called and said she was running a fever. She did so for about 5 days. We thought it was teething at first, but decided to take her to the doctor, just to be safe. Come to find out she had an ear infection. They gave her some antibiotics. Which is just about impossible to give to her. She just spits it back out. We have tried all sorts of stuff, but she is stubborn. Well I will move on. If you want to know more about her, visit her blog.

We had a super bowl part this past weekend, because both our teams were in it. I am a Saints fan and Danny is a Colts fan. My Saints whipped up on Danny's Colts. He was quite the sore loser about it too. It was a good time though. We were going to get a bounce castle for the kids, but because it had been raining, the company cancelled, so I had to get some other things to keep them occupied. I got some side walk chalk that was apparently a hit, because all the kids used it. Mostly on my back wall. It is actually kinda cool, so I haven't washed it off yet. Well, I can't remember much more so I will leave you with some pictures. I guess they are mainly for you Brandi, cause I'm not sure if anybody else reads this, so here ya go.

Bryan's farewell, 1st Christmas, cousins from Tucson.

Well it has been over a month so lets see if I can remember everything that has happened. The first thing that we did was have a farewell for Danny's brother Bryan. He is going to be serving a mission in Argentina and will be gone for two years. We are really going to miss him. I can't believe Rylee will be two by the time he gets back. We are very proud of him. He is doing something he believes in. Here are some photos from that night.

Uncle Bryan with his nieces and nephew.

Next was Rylee's first Christmas Eve and Christmas. For as long as I can remember, we have had Christmas Eve at my Grandma's. I love having that tradition. We all get together and play games and just mingle and have a great time. A few years ago we started trying to see how many people we can fit into my Grandma's downstairs bathroom. Not really sure why we started this, but it is fun. I think this was our third year doing it. So far every year we have beat our record from the year before. I think we got like 33 people in there this year. It is fun. We also play a dice game every year. Everybody pitches in and buys some cheap presents. We have a timer and two plates with 2 dice on them. You have to roll doubles and then you get to pick a present from the center. If all the presents are gone before the time runs out, you get to steal from someone. Well last year Barry decided to wrap a pair of underwear filled with holes. One of the little kids opened them last year. It was so funny. Well needless to say, he brought them again this year. Jacob got them this year and decided to model them for all of us. He gets to keep them till next year, when the next lucky person will get to unwrap them. Here are some photo's from Christmas Eve.

The next day was Christmas. It started out at my Dad's really early. After that we headed to Danny's mom's. Then to my mom's. And finally we ended up at Danny's dads. It was a very long day. Rylee was pretty cranky by the time we got home. She got a ton of gifts though. She definitely made out. Here are some photo's from Christmas.

Well next was New Year's, I don't have any photos. We didn't even make it till midnight. We started out by going out to dinner with Amy and Albert. Then, we headed to my mom's where we played some games. It is really hard to make it till midnight. Whenever I can get some sleep I take advantage of it. Since I don't have any photo's of New Years, we will move on.

Danny's basketball has started up. They haven't started out to good. I think they have lost there first two games. He plays on Wednesday nights. I go and try to watch, but usually end up talking to his family or Brandi. He also bowls on Thursday nights. This past Thursday we went to watch him. Well, we usually watch him every Thursday and he hasn't done very well with us there, so when we went and bought Rylee new clothes we bought her an outfit that says Daddy's Lucky Charm. Well she wore it this Thursday and daddy did really good. She also decided she wanted to drink through a straw this Thursday too. I was just giving her a small amount of water with the straw and she started sucking it out, so I put the straw in the water and let her suck away. She figured it out pretty quickly. It was so funny too, because when she would suck the water up, it would startle her and she would just let the water run out of her mouth.

Friday night we met up with his family in laughlin. Danny wasn't feeling very well so we left pretty early. We weren't winning anyways. Saturday we headed to Amy's for the football games. Both our teams won. Go Saints and Colts. We didn't stay there to long either because Danny was sick. We went back there today to say goodbye to his cousins. It was good to see them. His cousin Talon has a daughter that is 3 months older then Rylee. They weren't to sure about each other. Well, here are a few more photos.

Last but not least. There have been two birthdays that I missed. My Stepdad Chesters was December 21st, and our niece Tori's was January 12th. Happy belated birthday to you both. Apparently I don't have any pictures of you Chester. I will have to work on that. Sorry, I love you.

I think I need a lesson on this posting thing. Everytime I try to post with pictures it ends up taking me hours to do it. Everytime I try to add photos they go up to the top of my post and then I have to move them all down, so you experienced poster, if you have any secrets, please please fill me in. Thanks.

Our first Thanksgiving with Rylee!

Well the last few weeks haven't been to exciting. In fact I really can't recall much of what we did. That could be lack of sleep:), who knows. We did have our very first Thanksgiving with our bundle of joy. I was so excited for it too. She isn't old enough to do anything, so really not sure why I was so excited, but I was. We started out going to my Dads. We had Rylee all dressed up in a pretty dress and right before we left the house she decided to puke all over it. Apparently she didn't like it very much. She is very picky about her clothes:). Anyways, back to Thanksgiving. We spent a few hours and my Dad's, the we headed over to Danny's sister Amy's. We luckily only had two dinners to go to. We usually have 4. We enjoyed our day, but Rylee got a little overwhelmed I think. She didn't really nap and got passed around a lot. We then had another dinner Friday at my Mom's. It is always nice to have another dinner the day after. We don't have to worry about rushing everywhere. We just relaxed the rest of the weekend. Here are some photos from Thanksgiving.

Here she is looking as cute as ever.

She is just being cute here.

Danny's sister also got married November 16th. It was about time:). Here are a few photos of that.

What a happy family!

Baby Lexi wouldn't leave their sides. So cute.

I will post a few more random but adorable photos.
