Grandpa Mike and Vegas

Well, we haven't posted in quite some time now. I guess lets start from the beginning of October. October 3rd and 4th Danny played in the Andy Devines Day softball tournament. His team ended up taking 3rd place. We watched him play on Saturday. It was a little windy, but not to terrible. Rylee enjoyed it. She also discovered her thumb at the park. She started sucking away. It was so cute, but not a habit I want her to start up so we removed it. She has only found it once more since then. We didn't watch any games on Sunday because the wind was absolutely terrible. On Monday the 5th, I had my PP check up. Everything went well. Rylee had a check up on Tuesday the 6th. The Doctor said she is a tall, skinny baby. I think she is a little chunky, but he said according to the stats she is a little on the skinny side, but nothing to worry about. She is still in the normal range. She weighed 9lbs 10 ounces and was 22 inches long. She is doing very well. Not much more happened the rest of the week. Danny's sister was going to get married on the 9th of October, but decided to wait because Danny's dad was sick. He apparently had a massive heart attack about 6 weeks ago, but didn't realize it. He hadn't been feeling well, but he is a stubborn Stout and refused to go the Doctor. He works in Columbia so while he was on his rotation down there, he got really sick. They took him to the doctor, who diagnosed him with a virus. Actually 2 different doctors there did. Not sure how they missed the fact that he had a massive heart attack, but I guess that is besides the point. He ended up having to be transported to Vegas by a medical plane. He got to Vegas on Oct 10th, late in the evening. He was still acting completely normal. He would just get short of breath if he walked for to long. We decided to wake up early on the 11th to go see him. He was just hanging out enjoying some football when we were visiting him. Hard to believe that anything was seriously wrong. We ended up staying the night, because they were going to run some more tests on him to see what all was going on. On Monday the 12th they realized that he was in bad shape. We decided to come back to Kingman to get some more clothes, because we didn't know how long we would be there. We ended up staying till Friday. They were going to do open heart surgery on Wednesday, but then postponed it until Thursday, because they wanted his kidneys and Liver to be completely normal. They took him in to surgery at 10am and he was in surgery until about 3pm. He had to have several things done. Danny was at the hospital with all the other family the whole time. I stayed at the hotel with Rylee and Tori because we didn't want the kids at the hospital. Everybody got to see him on Thursday night. I went up and saw him on Friday morning. I prepared myself for what he was going to look like. He was on a ventilator. I walked in and said Hello. He looked right at me. I then told him that I loved him and he mouthed it back. I held his hand for a bit and then told him I was going to send in some more family. He wouldn't let my hand go, which just broke my heart. He had done that with other family members, I guess I just didn't expect him to do that to me. He was trying to tell me something, but I couldn't understand, so he started to write it out. He put Kiss for, and then I said Rylee and she shook his head yes. I said I would and left the room. On the way back to the waiting room I lost it. It just broke my heart to see him just lying there so helpless, yet so alert. I can't imagine Rylee growing up not knowing one of her Grandpas. He is such a strong man. He will pull through this, it is just so hard to see him in this state. Well, we left Vegas on Friday and returned home. It was great to be home, but hard not to be up there with him. He had a balloon that was in him, helping his heart pump. They removed that today the 18th. If he does well through the night, they will try to take him off the ventilator tomorrow. We are all praying he is strong enough. Little Miss Rylee did so well down there. She is such a good baby. We were rotating going to the hospital with Amy, because we didn't want the kids at the hospital, so one would watch the kids while the other went to visit him. I also feel like such a terrible mother. I was trying to load all the pictures I had on my camera to the computer and some how lost them all. So all pictures from September 13th till now are gone. I cried for about 45 minutes. Danny said we will just have to reinact all the photos like that one commercial, when the mom loses everything, except for her son is a bit older than Rylee. I just feel like such a retard. El well not much I can do about it now. I will just take a ton a day to make up for it. Well I think this post is long enough. I will post a few photos that I have, but they are from a while ago so sorry.

Here is Rylee with her Grandpa Mike.

Here is Miss Rylee being adorable.

I forgot to add that Rylee had her first play date. It must have October 1st. Can't remember for sure, but it was around the beginning of October. We went to my friend Brandi's house. She has play dates every Thursday. Her two kids are Paige and Cason. Then there was Megan and her son Patrick, and also Veronica and Daughter Lilly. They are all old enough to play with each other. Rylee is a bit to small yet. It was nice to get out of the house though and conversate with some adults. I went to school with both Brandi and Megan. We were all friends in High School. I met Veronica through Brandi. She is Brandi's sister in law. I enjoy talking with her too. Well I think that is all for now. Will post again soon. Hopefully:)

Colts game and Rylee is 1 month old.

Well, I knew I wouldn't be very good at this blogging thing. This past week has gone by really fast. Last Sunday Me and Danny went to the Cardinals, Colts game. Danny is a Colts fan. It was a lot of fun, but hard too. We left Rylee with my mom at the hotel. This was the first time I have been away from her for more than like 30 minutes. She did very well with Grandma and Grandpa though. Back to the football game. It was a lot of fun. The stadium is so nice. Thanks Dad for the tickets. I totally forgot the camera in the car, so no pictures of the game, but it was a ton of fun.

Rylee is now 1 month old. She is growing so fast. She has already changed so much, in just a month. So she had her first out of town trip on Sunday to the Colts game. She did pretty good in the car. She would cry for about 5 minutes and then fall asleep. We got her a Halloween costume while we were down there. She is going to be a witch. I am on Dannys computer so no pictures for now. I will add some later. I will also be putting more up on her tot site. Everyone have a good night.
