Crazy Climbing girl!

I guess it's time to post again. I am terrible at this blogging thing. Well lets see, the last time I posted was around Halloween. We had family from Colorado come visit the beginning of November. We had my cousin and her two kids stay with us. She has a 5 year old and a 4 year old. Rylee was so excited to have them here. She finally had some kids to play with. We had an early Thanksgiving with them over at my moms. It was a good time. We went to Danny's sisters for Thanksgiving Day. It was nice and laid back. Since both of our parents are divorced we usually have 4 places to go for every holiday and it can get a little overwhelming sometimes. My mom had another Thanksgiving the day after and we just went and visited my Dad after we left Amy's. After dinner, we came home. I really wanted a laptop from Walmart on black Friday, so I decided to go wait with my Aunt Terri at Midnight. We waited until 5am. Not sure what I was thinking, but I got my laptop. :).

Now to get to the title of this entry. Our little girl can climb out of her crib. She started doing this about 2 weeks ago. I laid her down for a nap, in her crib. She was fussing like she normally does, then she laid down. (we have a video monitor). The monitor went dark, so I waited a few minutes and checked it again. I couldn't find her, so I scanned her room. She was playing with all her toys. We decided the best thing to do was turn her crib in to a daybed and just get a toddler rail so she can't roll out of it. Well, Walmart didn't have any, so we waited until we had to go to Vegas. We had her sleep in her playpen until we got to Vegas. The playpen didn't last long either. She, as of yesterday, can now climb out of that. She is such a climber. I was worried about transitioning to a toddler bed. She is only 15 months. So far though, she has done great. She has only climbed out 1 time after putting her down for the night. I thought it was going to be a crazy battle. A battle I would much rather fight though, then have her fall out of her crib and crack her skull open.

We went and had her 15 month check up last week. She is now a whopping 21.5lbs with clothes on and 30.25 inches long. She is a bit of a runt. Our pediatrician says she is right on track for her though. She has always followed the 25th percentile. She had to get 2 shots that day also. Danny was in Vegas, so I had to go all by myself. Usually he holds her and I stand back and watch with tears in my eyes. Then, I comfort her after it is all done. Not this time though. I had to be the bad guy and hold her. She has to get her other half of the flu shot and then her 18 month shots and then we are down until she is 4. Thank goodness. I know they are good for the kids, but it is not fun.

I think that is all for now. I will leave you with some pictures, like I usually do. Hope you enjoy.

Too Cute.

She loves to pull all of her diapers out, and then sit in the box.

This is my favorite. She started out in her onsie. She then brought random articles of clothing to me, so I put whatever she brought to me on her. This is how we ended up.

Happy Halloween!

Well, I realize I'm a few days late in posting Halloween photos, but at least I'm posting them right:). Rylee is now 14 months old and is a wild one. She loves to run around and climb things. She has mastered climbing on the couch. Which wouldn't be that bad, except for the whole running thing. She runs back and forth and then will get as close to the edge as possible. She knows is scares us and we go running for her. She then smiles and turns and runs the other way. She is such a turkey.

I am so terrible at this blogging thing. I am trying to remember what we have done in the past month. My mom, Jessi, Rylee and I flew back to South Carolina to watch my cousin graduate from boot camp. He is now a united states marine. We are so proud of you Matt. I was really nervous about the flying, but she did great. That is until the very last flight. She ended up getting a belly ache and pretty much cried the entire flight.

I would like to wish a few people Happy Birthday. My Step-mom Anne had a birthday Nov 1. Thank you for being such a great person. You have always been so supportive of me. I really appreciate it. Next, my cousins son Logan, He turned 2 today. Happy Birthday Buddy. And last one for this week is my Aunt Terri. We love all you guys and hope you all have and had a great birthday.

Finally, I want to say congrats to my good friend Brandi & Jess on their new addition. A baby girl named Neely. She is the cutest little thing. Brandi is so awesome. She have delivered all her babies with no drugs. She is one tough cookie. She always tells me she feels like a wimp, because it really hurts. I have to correct her and tell her no, I am the wimp, but a proud wimp. I will take the pain meds over that pain any day. She is my hero. We love you guys and are so happy for you. Since I am on the topic of babies, I would like to wish a couple of friends good luck. Sarah & Chris and Scott & Shelby. They will both be adding new additions very soon. Good luck to you guys. We can't wait to hear the good news of your new bundles of joy. I guess I will leave you with some Halloween pictures. Have a good night all.

Disneyland and 1st Birthday!

Well, it is official, our baby girl is a year old. Crazy how time flies when your having fun. We started her birthday celebration out by taking her to Disneyland for a week. We had a great time. We arrived on Sunday August 29 and stayed until Sept 3. We stayed at the Grand Californian hotel, which is an amazing hotel. We had a view of the California Adventures park outside our window. It was also really convenient for when we got tired, because it was so close to the parks. The first night there, we really wanted to catch Fantasmic, because we have never seen it. Every time we go, it is not going and this time, Sunday was the only day it was going while we were there. So, we went in to Disneyland, took Rylee on a few rides and then sat at a table waiting for it to start. Rylee crashed out 5 minutes before it started. We thought she would wake up when it started, because it was loud, but she must have been really tired, because she didn't budge. It was a good show though. On Tuesday, My mom, step dad and Abbie joined us at Disneyland. We had a great time together. Wednesday was Rylee's actual birthday, so we decided to take her to build a bear and let her build one. She picked out the bear she wanted. She was very picky about the one she wanted. We did a personal message for her too. Anytime she pushes the bears hand she hears our voices and gets such a big smile. It is so cute. We also ate at the Blue Bayou, which is the restaurant inside Pirates of the Caribbean. It was pretty good. On Thursday we decided to try and go to the beach, who knew it would be 65 degrees at the beach and cloudy. It wasn't the best time at the beach, but we had fun. We didn't stay to long though. We went into the park for a little bit on Friday before heading home. We really had a great time. In fact we are tempted to get annual passes now.

So I apoligize, apparently this is going to be a very long post. Now on to her actual Birthday party. We did it at Danny's mom's house. It really turned out very well. Thank you Chuck and Deb for allowing us to take over your house for the evening. She had a lot of fun. Lots of Family and friends came to celebrate with us. She got a lot of great gifts. She didn't smash into her cake, she just enjoyed picking at it. I will just post some pictures of it, so you can all see how much fun we had.

Some family and her cool banner we had made!

Apparently my computer doesn't want me to upload any more pictures right now, so I will finish uploading them later. I figured this is enough for now. I guess I will leave you with a few fun facts about Rylee Roo. She has 5 teeth now. She says momma, dadda, baba, she says kitty kitty, but is sounds more like tizzy tizzy. She loves her kitty kitty. She says Hi really well. She always greets us with a very cute hi when she wakes up in the morning. She waves hi and bye. She does a different wave for each. She tries to blow kisses. She points to objects and says whats that, over and over again. I am sure there is a ton more, but I am drawing a blank now. I just can't believe how lucky we are to have such a beautiful, funny, sweet, loving, amazing, adorable little girl. We just love her so much. Can't wait to see what this next year will bring.

Pictures

She was playing with Daddy's hat. She loves to put things on her head. And around her neck, which is a bit scary sometimes.

Bad Dreams

I want to try and blog more then once every three months, so here it goes. For the past week, me and Danny have been taking turns having bad dreams. Or should I say hallucinations. We take turns practically diving off the bed because we think Rylee is falling off the bed. We take turns doing it though. One night I do it, the next night Danny. Sometimes I think it would be funny to set up a video camera so we can see what retarded things we do at night. (I'm sure some of you are thinking dirty thoughts right now, well stop it. I only want to set up a camera because we both have hallucinations.) And no, we aren't on drugs. I'm totally laughing just thinking of it. I seriously dove over Danny one night. I'm surprised I didn't kill him. The next night he is diving at my feet, totally freaked me out. The funny thing is, while all of this is going on, Rylee is sound asleep in her playpen. I do want to add though, that this is the only thing that I dream about. Danny does this all the time. I don't know how many times I have been rudely awoken with Danny freaking out, throwing the covers off the bed. He swears up and down there is a spider. The first few times I fell for it, so I would help him try and find this spider. After a while I got tired of it, and would just tell him to get back to bed. So, he is always having weird dreams. Well, now that I got that off my chest. Miss Rylee is now popping her 3rd tooth through. I'm still not convinced it was ready, but Rylee would grind her huge bottom tooth on her upper gums, so I think she helped it along a bit. I guess the more teeth, the better to eat her 1st Birthday cake. I still can't believe she will be 1 in a few weeks. It is crazy how fast it has gone. Well I guess I will leave you with a few pictures. Nevermind, I am on Danny's work computer and it is not cooperating, so I will have to post pictures later.

More Pictures

Well last night when I was trying to post pictures, it kept telling me it couldn't save anything, so today I was able to post, but it moved my pictures around and took out my descriptions of them, so here are a few more pictures to enjoy. These pictures range in age from 9 to 11 months.

11 months old yesterday

It has been a while since my last post. We have just been so busy with our baby girl. She is doing so great. She started walking at 10 months and there is no stopping her now. She has 1 toothpretty much all the way in and another one starting to come in. They are both on the bottom. She is such a smart little booger. She only has to watch us once and will then copy what we do. She loves to dance, it doesn't matter what kind of music. She loves the show Yo Gabba Gabba. It is rather interesting, but she enjoys it.

She had her 1st 4th of July. She liked the fireworks, but only if she was sitting with either me or Danny. She tried to sit with Jessi for a bit, but started to get scared. She definitely likes to be with her Mommy or Daddy. More so with Daddy, but Mommy will do if Daddy isn't around.
She turned 11months old yesterday. I can't believe it. It has just flown by. We are starting to plan her 1st b day party. For her actual birthday, we will be in Disneyland, so it should be fun.
Let me talk about some of the things she does. She loves to pull out all of our DVDs, she loves the animals, they just aren't to fond of her. She loves to just lay on them, I can't figure out why they don't like that.. She loves to love on stuffed animals, she hugs them so tight, and then will bring them to us for us to love on them. She is really starting to get good at sleeping through the night, which is great for mommy and daddy. She is still sleeping in our room. I keep saying I will move her after her 1st b day. We shall see if that happens. I like her being at the foot of our bed in her playpen. She loves to play in the dogs water dish, she also likes to put things in there. She tried to put daddy's phone in there yesterday. We are constantly telling her No, not to play in that. After we walk away she will walk right back to it and look at us. She knows she isn't supposed to be playing in it, and it's like she is taunting us. She is such a turkey. She really is such a good baby. I just can't picture my life without her now that she is in it. Well I guess that is all I can think of for now. I will try and update a little sooner next time.

Rylee at her 1st dbacks game, actually this was her second.

This was her first game, and she slept right through it.

Having fun in the tub.

She already doesn't listen, we are in for it.
